Ive been doing a few portraits over the last few months, and they seem to a great hit! As time consuming as they are, its such a great feeling when you finally finish and stand back, and think, yes that actually looks like them!

I am putting together a little campaign/package offer for my portraits. 1 hand drawn portrait, x 2 A4 prints of the same drawing, and 5 greeting card prints all for £90… A great Christmas/birthday gift and you won’t have to worry that someone else has bought the same thing!! x

Well I have finally finished my first  pet portrait, and what a pleasure it was to.

I was commissioned to draw a portrait of 6 horses, for a 50th birthday present. It took me quite a while but the end results are very pleasing. Working every night to complete it before the big day!

All family members where very very pleased with the finished portrait and it has taken pride of place in her living room!

I am delighted to announce that the amazing online Illustration magazine Pocketful, has selected me to design an image for the December issue.

After a few drafts and sketches, I drew my little lady with her feline friends. I love my cats, and like to sketch them when they are being lazy! The theme of the issue was “The Chinese tell time through the eyes of cats”.

Watch out for the link!

Christmas cards

Ive finally finsihed my range of Christmas cards. After weeks of sketches, and rough drafts, they are here!

There are 5 cards in my range, Santa, who is more traditional then the other 4, he has to be!! Santas cheif Toymaker, who takes care of all Santa’s naughty and nice lists… Noel, who is number 1 lady when it comes to getting the reindeers ready for flight, shes a little day dreamer, but the reindeers love her! And then theres Bear and Badger, who are best friends, and love cake! They wear litle boots and bob caps, scarves and Christmas! They dance a merry jig together, celebrating the festive season.  I have my Egg nog recipe, which was originally a screen print. This is a little different to my other cards, but makes a nice little change…
